Virtua Cop 2 is a light gun arcade game, released in 1995 and developed internally at Sega by their AM2 studio. It was ported to home systems on the Sega Saturn.

SEGA's first-person "shooter" of the same name, Virtua Cop 2 (also known as Virtua Squad 2), is unbeatable only by appearances.
Virtua Cop 2 follows the lives of three officers and their anti-crime efforts. You can play this game with only two people. Compared to the original Virtua Cop, this game has superior visuals. Instead of seemingly related villains, there are many different villains, including soldiers, Alien conductors, and even George Michael (yes, the way he looks). These characters know their own destiny and regularly show up at their doorstep. They can even jump off buildings and fall from overhanging branches.
The parts were also replaced. For example, they fight the demons differently depending on where you fight them. If you hit them on the stomach, they fall forward in pain. Shoot them in the head, and you'll see him retreat and his body fall backwards. There’s also more shooting range than earlier shots: you can hit a door, a windshield, or a car cut in the road by moving its wheels. While the graphics are a bit outdated, especially compared to the 3D wonders of today, every aspect of the changes and their effects in Virtua Cop 2 are unique.
