HITMAN 3 is the eighth title released in the main series and the third to add to the slate of new stories about the bald hitman. But despite the number in the title, it's merely nominal, essentially granting access to new maps. These locations span the globe, from one of China's largest cities to a winery in Mendoza. The core gameplay remains virtually unchanged, with only minor adjustments.
HITMAN III's signature disguise remains. As before, Agent 47 can assume the guises of cooks, security guards, cleaners, bartenders, and other individuals present in a specific location. This significantly simplifies the task, as the assassin remains undetected for longer. It's important to note that although there are only six levels, each one feels like a standalone story. For example, the mission in the Dartmoor estate is literally steeped in detective atmosphere, especially considering the protagonist assumes the guise of a private investigator. Once in the location, you can spend hours exploring each room, searching for clues and leads, discovering hidden areas, and performing other tasks that precede the completion of the objective.
